Vision

Our vision is to ensure that California’s culturally and architecturally significant places are valued and preserved for future generations.

Goals

1. 1.Our goals is to support Policy Advocacy through Knowledgeable, and Supportive Policy Makers. To do this, we engage in direct lobbying of state legislators and the executive branch to increase knowledge of and active support of historic preservation issues and California Preservation Foundation policy priorities.
2. 2.We support the mission and vision through Increased Financial Resources Strategies, which include developing creative and sustainable revenue sources aligned with our mission, including corporate donor programs to secure financial support from corporate entities with an interest in historic preservation.
3. 3.Create a Knowledgeable, Supportive Public by creating programs for target audiences that encourage ongoing engagement in CPF programs, and introducing new audiences to the tangible and intangible benefits of historic preservation through no or low-cost programs.
