The Clear Lake Community Historical Assocation works to preserve the character, historical buildings, and the natural environment of the Clear Lake community. The Association solicits, collects, preserves, and restores materials and memorabilia relating to the history of the Clear Lake area. The Association provides educational opportunities through events and school presentations and obtains historical information and folklore through oral interviews. Interviews are shared in written format and presentations. The Association assists in the economic progress of the Clear Lake area in ways that enhance and preserve its unique cultural, historical, and environmental character. The Association encourages the development of arts and crafts in the Clear Lake area. The Association's historical building is used for meetings, educational presentations, community events and as a community center.
