Mission

Guided by advanced science, we reduce exposure to toxic chemicals in our air, water, soil, food, and the products we use every day. Our mission is to protect public health and support decision-makers by leading science-backed approaches that center prevention and remedy environmental injustice. We catalyze policy solutions, drive awareness, develop standards, initiate cutting-edge research, and litigate toward systemic change in our world.

Goals

1.CEH will collaborate with the Food Chemical Alliance and other allies to hold FDA accountable for protecting the public from harmful chemicals in food and food contact materials.
2.Conduct outreach, educate, and engage new BIPOC-led community partners and existing stakeholders to uplift, advance, and defend Proposition 65 as a core bedrock of environmental law.
3.Use the federal Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to hold corporations accountable for chemical import reporting and rule violations, and continue to participate in other active non-Prop 65 cases.
