Vision

A San Francisco where every senior has access to nutritious, culturally appropriate food, lives free from hunger and isolation, and ages with dignity, purpose, and connection to their community. Through the power of neighbors helping neighbors, we envision a city where no senior must choose between food and medicine, where social bonds combat loneliness, and where every older adult—regardless of income, mobility, or background—is valued, empowered, and able to thrive in their own home as a cherished member of our community.

Goals

1. 1.Expand Grocery Delivery Reach: Increase weekly grocery delivery from 1,200 to 1,500 low-income seniors in underserved SF neighborhoods identified by the SF Food Bank. This expansion will reduce food insecurity for 300+ additional homebound seniors while maintaining our fresh produce model.
2. 2.Strengthen Organizational Infrastructure: Build organizational sustainability by investing in commercial-grade refrigeration equipment, volunteer management systems, and staff development. These capacity improvements will ensure safe food storage, enhance volunteer retention among our 120+ senior volunteers, and strengthen program quality.
3. 3.Advance Senior Food Security Advocacy: Elevate awareness of senior food insecurity in SF by partnering with city agencies, sharing program data, and advocating for increased funding for senior nutrition programs. Amplify the voices of the 1,200 seniors we serve to influence policy changes that address systemic gaps in food access for homebound older adults.
