Vision

The vision for Honor Roads has emerged from the realization of the growing demand within the transportation industry and the concurrent underutilization of the skills and experience of veterans pursuing post-military career paths. We are focused on delivering educational assistance specifically tailored to veterans’ needs. The tagline “Empowering Veterans. Driving Futures,” paves the way for our core mission and overall vision. We aim to empower veterans through education and employment opportunities, ultimately shaping brighter futures for those who have served their country.

Goals

1. 1.Honor Roads will grow its core program of providing grants to veterans seeking skills needed to obtain a commercial CDL-A driver’s license, and a career in the transportation industry. This program serves a dual purpose: get veterans into a new career, while also bridging a gap in the trucking industry's demand for skilled professionals.
2. 2.Honor Roads will continue to dedicate resources to strengthen our internal leadership to improve our operational efficiency and strengthen our board member engagement and capacity to provide effective oversight while expanding awareness of the organization's mission.
3. 3.Honor Roads will continue to dedicate resources to improve financial planning and compliance while growing overall capabilities to serve our community, ensuring sustainability and impact. We will explore strategies to improve financial planning while seeking additional funding sources to support our program.
