Support for Homeless Pets: Partner with local shelters and rescue organizations to fund the care and rehabilitation of homeless pets, including medical treatments, fostering programs, and adoption drives. Educational Workshops and Campaigns: Host workshops and awareness campaigns on common pet health issues, responsible pet ownership, and preventive care through webinars, community events, and educational materials. Emergency Veterinary Care Fund: Create a fund specifically for emergency veterinary bills to assist animals in developing, underserved, and marginalized communities, as well as shelters, strays, and pet owners who cannot afford critical medical treatments. Origin Story Daisy’s Legacy was born out of a heartbreaking and preventable tragedy involving Daisy, a beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who served as a service dog and cherished companion. Daisy’s life was tragically cut short due to a medication error—a vet prescribed one medication, but the pharmacy dispensed another, leading to her untimely death. This tragic loss highlighted significant gaps in the pet care system and inspired a determined effort to transform grief into positive action.
