The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Our goal of empowering Haitians, particularly those most in need, requires our commitment to increasing access to our existing programs and services for those not yet served in northeast Haiti. This includes a significant number of recently displaced people who require healthcare, education, housing, employment, and food security.
Goal Two: Food security has become an even more significant concern than historically, so projects to increase the supply of locally grown food, even during dry seasons, are a priority. Another goal for a new program is to mobilize our medical services to improve the health of patients who would not be otherwise treated due to their inability to travel to the clinic.
Goal Three: Our goal of investing in the technical capacity of organizations that carry out our programs includes ensuring constant access to electricity by repairing/upgrading solar panels (local power is not reliable), obtaining reliable internet access provided by satellite, updating accounting and financial recordkeeping software and training, and transferring paper medical and other records to digital.
