The COVID-19 pandemic has increased basic needs in Orem City and those needs have caused the foundation board of directors to assess that the organization needs to be more proactive in gathering donations to help meet those needs in our community. As such, the foundation has undergone a rebranding (the name has been changed from City of Orem Foundation to Orem Community Foundation and these changes have been changed with the State of Utah, and are also currently under process of being changed with the IRS). A new logo and branding materials were created, a website built, and strategies to improve contact with Orem residents is beginning to be executed.
