Furvivors Horse Rescue and Farm Animal Sanctuary provides a safe landing for at-risk horses that are neglected, abandoned, suffering from starvation and unwanted because of disabilities, to name a few. It is our goal to keep them out of the pipeline and off the slaughter trucks to Mexico and Canada, where it is legal for horses to be processed for human consumption. Furvivors Wonderland is a 100% volunteer operated and donation funded nationally recognized non-profit horse rescue. We love to open our barnyard to all farm animals in need, when we have openings. Our ultimate goal is purchase our own farm where we never have to say No to an animal in need.

The team at Furvivors Wonderland Horse Rescue and Animal Sanctuary is in constant growth. To maintain ourselves in this difficult times, and to recover from the CoVid 19 Pandemic, we are constantly attending online seminars, webinars and training classes in both business and farm rescue management. We also work closely with our SCORE Mentors and meet with them biweekly, sometimes weekly with constant interaction and guidance from them for improvement and growth. We have also built and continue to grow our partnerships with like minded "sister" non-profit organizations with the same goals and missions. This expands our awareness even greater in community, regionally and nationally.

Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Furvivors has a strong core team of members who will forever be committed to the welfare of the animals at the Wonderland. They will always be hands-on, committed and ready to serve 24 hours a day, or night, 365 days a year. Together, with a strong network of partnering rescues and volunteers, Furvivors has been and will remain successful in maintaining a healthy core value to succeed changes and adapt as necessary to maintain consistency in rescuing at-risk horses and offering sanctuary for them and other farm animals. In the last year alone, we have acquired a great network of core volunteers of students, family and neighbors to commit to the care and rehabilitation of the residents at the farm. We also adapted our feeding program to a more sustainable product, lowering cost and increasing nutritional value for the animals. It has become difficult to find specific feeds and supplement sources, so we resorted to various natural and holistic measures to maintain a healthy feeding program.
