The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: In FY25, Jumpstart will train 2,200 Corps Members to serve 7,000 students, over 75% live in poverty, by hosting twice-weekly Jumpstart Sessions to enhance students' language, literacy, and social-emotional learning and give Corps Members critical in-classrooms skills to better prepare them for careers related to their Jumpstart service.
Goal Two: Jumpstart has recently launched the Accelerated Workforce Development Program (AWP) to help Corps Members bridge their service and ECE careers more strategically, where we work with higher education partners, policymakers, and Pre-K providers to integrate Corps Members’ college curricula, experience in Pre-K classrooms, licensure, first job placement, and career development.
Goal Three: Through AWP, advocate for policies that support a strong early childhood workforce, continuing federal efforts and expanding state/local efforts.
