Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
The Beljanski Foundation was created after its founder, Sylvie Beljanski navigated turbulent times (over twenty years ago) to preserve her father’s legacy. During the pandemic Sylvie Beljanski relied heavily on her accrued resilience and created programming and resources for her community to feel armed with the information needed to navigate this disease. Ms. Beljanski quickly published a free e-book with an evergreen message, How to Protect Yourself from COVID-19 and Whatever Else May Come Your Way and continues to circulate it widely.
Second, Ms. Beljanski led her team to convert Healthy Tuesdays, the monthly community building in person event, to the virtual platform. The event was taped and as a result we now have a portal of over one year’s worth of presentations featuring Doctors from around the world speaking about integrative health. Today these recordings are available to the public on our website.
As a result of the events of the past two years we have focused more on the fact that natural ingredients are what sets us apart. We focus on what nature has. We focus on the sustainability of medicine and use natural products across the globe. When ten tons of bark and leaves are purchased, the forest is valued. The community around it will be protected. This creates a positive cycle in the world. This message is more important than ever.
Healing naturally and expanding this positive cycle worldwide is what we seek to showcase as we raise money to further the work of visionary scientist, Dr. Mirko Beljanski.
We are stronger and better situated to support those seeking natural alternatives to care for cancer and other chronic disease in the USA and around the world.
