The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Conduct research to understand felid behavior, ecology, and conservation needs, investigating transmission of zoonotic diseases and spillover risks at the human-wildlife interface.
Educate the public around interconnectedness of wildlife health, ecosystem health, and human health within a One Health framework, and reduce conflict between people and felids
Goal Two: While our organization has operated with minimal overhead, we recognize the need to invest in capacity-building initiatives, invest in core organizational functions, such as staff development, training and recruitment, infrastructure and technology, and program innovation, thereby strengthening our organizational capacity to achieve long-term conservation goals.
Goal Three: We recognize the significance of working both locally and globally to address the interconnected challenges of felid conservation, biodiversity preservation, conflict mitigation, and public health. These are our core programs.
