Investment in Leadership Development
15 out of 15 points
The nonprofit provides evidence of investment in leadership development.
We have two National Co-ordinators responsible for maintaining the Adoption Applications, Rescue Adoption Case paperwork, and will file quarterly Adoption Reports. They also report on open rescue cases to the PWDCA Rescue Board to keep the Board informed. They handle this and more as presented per case. This requires training as they each cover half the country and manage all the area rescue reps who work for them. Our work is done remotely until intake of each dog . So all this requires hours of training and knowledge by those volunteers who have done it longer. Our turnaround can be high as this is a job of passion and burnout is our greatest risk for our volunteers.
