The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Given the nature of our mission and work, the pandemic did not have a large impact on our routine operations. We were, however, forced to cancel and delay some community gatherings meant to celebrate our donors, generate awareness of and interest in our organization, and also help with our ongoing fundraising. For example, a large community gathering planned to mark the publication of a photo book celebrating the beauty of our valley had to be postponed, but we look forward to holding this event in fall of 2021. Meanwhile, the ongoing work of our board was managed via videoconference until such time as we are able to safely meet in person once again.
