The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: The poor living in extreme poverty in Tijuana is a dire situation, which is becoming larger due to local and world economics and politics. This goal of the Casa de los Pobres USA is to increase the awareness of the Casa de los Pobres in Tijuana, and to increase benefactors, volunteer services, and "daily bread" to help alleviate the suffering of the poor.
Goal Two: There is always a need to help more people with more support (food, water, medical care, shelter, clothing, social services, and education for children). To increase the support to the poor necessitates the increase in funding to provide basic essentials for survival and services. Therefore, to help accomplish this goal we are expanding our social networking and applying for grants.
Goal Three: The new Board of Directors of the Casa de los Pobres USA is attempting to join the 21st Century by updating the operational systems of the nonprofit. The utilization of electronic-mail, customer-relationship management programs, increased social media platforms, and researching and applying for grants will hopefully grow and sustain the Mission of the Casa de los Pobres USA.
