See rating report below to learn why this organization is not currently eligible.

The historic rating mainly reflects a version of today’s Accountability and Finance score. More information on our previous rating methodologies can be found on our rating methodology page.

Covid-19 definitely had an impact on the work the Friends of Middleborough Cemeteries does. We turned our focus from the work that is done outside in the cemeteries to organizing the data already obtained from previous years and putting that information into Notebooks with the information backed up electronically, The Veterans Team field research requires working in pairs and due to the social distancing we were unable to do any of this research. The gravestone information is checked against a previous list supplied to the organization in 1982 for accuracy. If a gravestone shows some indication that the person interred may have served in our armed forces, they are added to the list to be verified through genealogical records and the local veteran's service office. Since field research could not be done, we turned our focus to the research on the genealogy sites verifying the data already obtained during the cemetery field research prior to Covid-19.
