We constitute a devoted collective of animal enthusiasts dedicated to rescuing creatures facing euthanasia in overcrowded county shelters, as well as abandoned animals, litters discovered in fields, those enduring inhumane conditions, and other homeless animals in distress. Our primary objective is to provide unwavering care to these rescues until they secure their forever homes.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Assuming this question is based on the changes we had to adapt to during the pandemic, we were actually under construction on our facility at that time. We faced two major issues during this time.
The first issue was that we had planned on raising funds as we completed the facility in phases. With so many people out of work due to the shutdown, there was no way we could ask people to donate money. People were in survival mode, which we knew and empathized with. This meant, getting creative and clawing our way through on our own. We were able to complete the facility, but this was certainly an unexpected bump in the road.
The second issue was that our state shut down completely. We had to completely halt constructions for months. Once people were able to return to work, everyone was behind in their schedules, and we fell to the back of the list. Construction dragged on at times and we once again had to be creative. At the end of the year, we ended up with everything we could have wanted in a facility.
