The NEC Society is the world’s leading nonprofit focused on necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). We are led by patient-families, clinicians, and researchers working together to build a world where babies never experience the devastation of NEC.

Vision

By building a world without NEC, we optimize outcomes for all babies at risk of this devastating neonatal disease.

Goals

1.The NEC Society is committed to advancing NEC research. NEC remains a poorly understood disease. We are committed to helping answer the most urgent and impactful research questions.
2.The NEC Society is committed to helping patient-families and clinicians access educational materials, webinars, and conferences to help optimize health outcomes for babies at risk of NEC.
3.The NEC Society is committed to advocating for the health and well-being of patients, families, and healthcare providers.
