COVID-19 pandemic is the most challenging time for us. Despite of the pandemic, our organization didn’t reduce any activities and we still continue the same feeding schedule, and have regular Zoom meetings with Alcoholics Anonymous Brooklyn Group. Our organization managed to accept donations through online, in order to keep the activities going despite of the pandemic happening globally. Our organization still feed the homeless and those in need in Brighton Beach area 5 days per week (except for Wednesdays and Saturdays). We help with the rehabilitation and detox of people suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction. We also provide shelter at our safe haven located in Coney Island. As we continue to help them with their physical needs, we also help this people feed their soul and provide spiritual support through organizing prayers and church services. We still believe and it is our goal to give these people the hope they needed down deep in their crying hearts.
