Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Our biggest challenge in the last year has been shortage of staff. We only hire part-time workers, and prior to this year only at minimum wage. To help with that situation, we did increase salaries as much as we could, primarily through the generosity of a volunteer who got us started with a large donation. We now have a stable group of workers, though some must be replaced as colleges start new semesters, etc.
