The Club has traditionally provided funding for a Ballistic Vest Grant for law enforcement departments in financial need. Recently, the State Legislature of Texas passed a law providing for the funding of ballistic vests for every law enforcement department in the state. As a result, The Club has ceased funding for the Ballistic Vest Grant and has, instead, begun to research needs for other equipment by other departments. As we develop this program, we are considering all requests for equipment support on a case-by-case basis.
