The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: We are increasing our commitment to the JPF's most visible program - our Community Kitchen Support Program, offering grants, curricular materials, partnerships, tools and equipment and other assets to community kitchens across the country. We support over 120 Community Kitchen organizations that provide free life skills and culinary training to adults with barriers to employment.
Goal Two: We are exploring an opportunity to offer our rich selection of culinary training assets (Chef Pepin has published 35 cookbooks, and 8,000 recipes, and 100s of hours of technical training) to medical institutions including Harvard, Yale, Tufts, Stanford, Tulane, etc who are offering cooking classes to their medical staff and patients with the goal of improving diet related chronic disease.
Goal Three: In the last year, we have added 3 new employees, bringing our total staff to seven, allowing us to message more effectively through newsletters and social media, improve our development operations, and open new channels for our content, such as our new YouTube channel, new websites, and new collaborations. We have launched our first ever national fundraising campaign.
