The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
ELG’s signature program, beginning in 2017, includes education, training, and applied STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) infused entrepreneurial learning through summer camps at local universities, year-round mentorship, monthly webinars, and annual conferences to young girls. However, due to COVID 19, ELG adapted and created programming in response to the increased challenges and barriers inflicted on youth as a direct result of the pandemic. ELG offers online learning options that includes monthly team mentoring, workshops, STEM labs, assignments, and challenges focusing on entrepreneurship holistically to include elements of financial education, mental wellness, economic development and community revitalization/ stabilization, racial justice, and so much more. All programming is offered at no cost to the student or their family.
