In 2021 we were able to collect over $80,000 to assist the development of OpenEMR's 2015 ONC certification effort.
As the 2014 edition was decertified it became necessary to direct funds to the OpenEMR project in order for it to be a practical choice for low resource areas in the United States. This has a trickle down effect of adding extra functionality that also attracts world wide use and adoption of the software.
We hope that the project is able to complete the certification in April 2022 now that the necessary funds have been obtained.
