The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
We have met an increase in homelessness and less available shelter options in the city by opening our shelter from October to May 24/7 and increasing the available beds from 50 to 60.
In response, to greater need for food and clothing in the community, we have made our Thursday food pantry and Wednesday clothing closet permanent and hired 3 staff full-time to operate those programs along with our Saturday hot meals program.
