The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Two major leadership changes have occurred in the past 18 months. First, St. Paul Parks, our major government partner, has a new director. Secondly, the founding executive director of the conservancy left her position in early 2023. One of the ways the conservancy adapted was to hire a well regarded search firm to find its next leader. In order to ensure a continued robust partnership with the City of St. Paul, the new parks director was very involved in the process, including interviewing all of the candidates.
