The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
In the last year we have doubled down on our outreach so that we can connect with more organizations and youth that are in need of the programming we offer.
Over the past year, Green Arrow Co-Lab has launched a pilot program at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition’s reentry house in Koreatown, Los Angeles. This project successfully engaged 8 residents in a year long program through gardening, healing work, and self-exploration.
Additionally, we have identified four other organizations interested in hosting a project site (four site locations in California and one in New Mexico).
As a new organization, over the past year, we have also recruited our full board and made headway into fundraising by networking and building relationships with area donors. Majority of our board has lived experience or deep work experience focused on our mission and vision.
We are adapting and using the global and community changes and needs as a looking glass to where we should be focusing our efforts and where we are needed most using our expertise and offering.
