See rating report below to learn why this organization is not currently eligible.
Historical Ratings
Charity Navigator's ratings previously did not consider Leadership & Adaptability, Culture & Community, or Impact & Measurement. The historic rating mainly reflects a version of today’s Accountability and Finance score. More information on our previous rating methodologies can be found on our rating methodology page.
Rating histories are available for a growing number of rated organizations. Check back later to see if this organization has a rating history!
Capitalists for Shared Income cannot currently be evaluated by our Accountability & Finance methodology due to only having one year of electronically-filed IRS Form 990 data.
To ensure year-to-year consistency the Encompass Rating System's Accountability & Finance beacon analyzes the three-year average of some data provided through the IRS 990.
Charity Navigator currently only has one year of consecutive e-filed Forms 990 from the IRS for Capitalists for Shared Income under the EIN: 86-2516491.
Before Charity Navigator can evaluate Capitalists for Shared Income, Capitalists for Shared Income will need to e-file for additional fiscal years.

The last year was about C4SI's launch. We reserved the name with CA in January, filed for an EIN in March, incorporated with CA in May, and filed for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS on 06/13/2021 and were approved on 11/13/2021. In December, we launched a pilot with 3 Distribution Partners and put >$10K worth of debit cards in the hands of those living in poverty while testing our distribution model. On 12/27/2021 we opened our website up for on-line donations. 2021 was a year of growth and change and we are looking forward to 2022!
